INJURED BY V-BOMB

WOMAN WITH BROKEN NECK BIRTH OF STURDY CHILD (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 19. A woman who had her neck broken in a recent V-bomb raid yesterday gave birth to a baby in a South of England hospital. The baby is a fine sturdychild. The mother (Mrs Boor), her husband, and her daughter Jean, aged three, were all buried in debris when the V-bomb exploded. The father and daughter escaped injury, but Mrs Boor was pinned down by an iron bedstead. Her head, neck, and a considerable part of her body had to be encased in plaster and it was under these conditions that the baby was bom.
