DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE
On the Dunedin Slock Exchange yesterday Bank of New Zealand shares were sought at £2 7s 6d with sellers asking lid more. The Long D issue was wanted at £1 Bs, but sellers quoted £1 10s. E. S. and A, Banks were offered at £4 14s Cd, but no buyers advanced a bid above £4 13s 3d. National Insurances were quoted at £1 4s 3d and £1 4s 9d, Standard Insurances at £3 19s 3d and £4 Is, New Zealand Refrigeratings (paid) at £1 8s and £1 8s 6d, and Southland Frozen Meats (ord.) at £2 Us 6d and £2 13s, all buyers and sellers respectively. Wright, Stephensons (ord.) were offered at £1 8s 6d, with buyers bidding £1 7s 6d An ofl'cr of £2 4s was made for New Zealand Breweries, with sellers quoting at. £2 ,1s 3d, and Dominion Breweries were sought at £2 8s with sellers 9d away. Dunedin Breweries were quoted at £1 8s (buyer) and £1 Us (seller).
