Brigadier C. Pleasants, who is on furlough from Italy, spent the w'eek-end with Mr J. T. Burrows, rector of the Waitaki Bovs’ High School. Brigadier Pleasants gave a talk to the boys at assembly yesterday morning on some of the latest battles fought in Italy. Mr and Mrs John Paton, of Ferry road, Papakaio, have been advised that their son, Private Bruce Paton. was incorrectly rt ported missing. He has since been reported wounded, but has now been discharged from hospital.
