MINING ’NEWS
Gold Dredges of New Zealand.— The following returns are reported:—Barrytown, 1720 z for 214 hours (75,000 yards); Kanleri, 4570 z for 248 hours (117,000 yards); Arahura, 4360 z for 255 hours (13,700 yards).
Snowy River Dredge.—Last week’s return was 2530 z for 244 hours from 43,500 yards. Blackball Creek Dredge.—A return is reported of 490 z for 214 hours’ work. Ngahere Dredge.—For the four weeks ended on Friday a return was obtained of 2970 z from 104,463 yards worked in 291 hours.
