. THE DESTROYER ALDENHAM (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Jan. 6. The Admiralty announces that the destroyer Aldenham has been lost. The Aldenham had one of the most distinguished war records of any of His Majesty’s destroyers. She had steamed the eouivalent of more than twice round "the world every year since she was commissioned in 1942, having covered nearly 200.000 miles since she went to sea f° r service in the Mediterranean and African coast.
