KINDERGARTEN ON THE SCENE

A bad break In the weather does not enhance the prospects for the Dunedin Jockey Club’s summer meeting at Wingatui to-day. Rain set in yesterday, and continued during the day. The going will again be on the soft side. An excellent list of acceptances will, however, make a good card, and the fields should provide interesting racing if the weather improves. Kindergarten and Golden Souvenir, both of whom are engaged in the James Hazlett Gold Cup, arrived at the course on Thursday morning.
