The railway services will revert to the ordinary time table on Monday, and as a consequence the express trains for the north are heavily booked throughout next week. There are still second class seats available between Dunedin and Oamaru and Dunedin and Timaru on the 8.45 a.m. express to Christchurch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and on 'the 10.50 a.m. express on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but otherwise accommodation on these trains is fully booked. A few seats are still to be had on the 11.20 p.m. express for Christchurch on Sunday. The 8.33 a.m. express to Invercargill on Monday is fully booked, but accommodation is still available on trains south for the remainder of the week. All the first class seats on Monday’s Central Otago train are booked, but there is ample second class accommodation. For the remainder of the week seats are obtainable in both classes. Inward traffic from the north is expected to be heavy throughout the week, and Monday’s train from Invercargill will also have a full complement of passengers. Trains from Central Otago on Monday and Wednesday are fully booked, and Friday’s train will also carry a heavy load. It has been decided to run additional expresses on January 18, 20, 23, 25, and 27. These trains will run at 8.45 a.m. from Dunedin to Christchurch and at 9.10 a.m. from Christchurch to Dunedin. ___
