SPORTS MEETING Tire borough camp at Alexandra attracts a large number of visitors at holiday time each year; Before the departure of the main body of holiday-makers this year a New Year’s sports gathering was arranged, and this proved so successful that it was decided unanimously to make it an annual event. There was an attendance of approximately 300 at the meeting. The following were the prize-win-ners:— Flat Races, 50 Yards.—Boys, seven and under; G. Valentine 1, S. Valentine 2, D. Coulter 3.
