REGENT THEATRE
STIRRING RUSSIAN ROMANCE Starring Robert Taylor and Susan Peters, “ Song .of Russia,” which is in its second 'week at the Regent Theatre, is an epic film of Russia’s heroic battle against Nazi intrigue and open force. Taylor plays the part of a young and brilliant American symphony conductor, who falls in love with an earnest peasant girl while he is touring Russia. Before they can settle down after their marriage the Nazis invade the bride's native land. The young couple find their happiness with each other in this turbulent state of affairs, and manage to serve war-torn Russia. The picture is directed by Gregory RatofT. and the supporting cast includes Robert Benchley, Felix Bressart, Michael Chcckhov. John Hodiak, Darryl Hickman. Jacqueline White, and Vladimir Sokoloff. Box plans are at the D.I.C. and the theatre.
