(P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 4. The final of the Pairs championship in the South Island bowling tournament was played at the Te Rangi green this morning in the best conditions experienced throughout the tournament. Canterbury (P Delargev and R. E. McNish) defeated Roslyn (H. Miller and W. J. McKay) by 22 to 19 after a good exhibition of drawling on a keen surface.
