CITY POLICE COURT
In the City Police Court yesterday, before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., William Alfred Paulcv. a labourer, aged 31, pleaded guilty to charges of drunkenness and using obscene language in a public place.— Senior Sergeant A. Johnston said that the accused's mother had applied for police assistance in restraining her son. and when flic constable was placing him under arrest for drunkenness lie had used the language complained of. A prohibition order of which he had been the subject had expired three weeks ago.—The accused was fined 14s Gd. in default 24 hours' Imprisonment, on the charge of drunkenness, and the second charge was dismissed on condition that the accused took out a prohibition order immediately.
