FARMERS’ DELEGATION

ARRIVAL OF BRITISH PARTY

STUDY OF DOMINION PROBLEMS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 13. A delegation representing the Farmers’ Unions of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland arrived at Auckland to-day to begin a NewZealand t6ur, with the object of studying farming conditions and problems likely to affect the post-war position. The delegation, which later will go to Australia, is led by Mr James Turner, add the other members are Messrs b. O. Ratcliff, W. Young, G. Ervine, G. S’. Browne, and G. Tuker. Mr Turner, in an interview, said the object of the visit was to discuss frankly and fully primary industry problems in this part of the world, and to prepare the ground for dealing with them on the basis of. collaboration between the nations. He urged that the team work of the war years should be continued when peace comes.
