Otago Club. —The concluding games in the fourth round of the" knock-out competition for the Haggitt Cup were played at Balmacewen on Saturday and resulted as follows:—W. C. Romeril beat A. R. Woods 2 and 1. and W. D. McKenzie beat D. M. F. McDonald 2 and 6. In the semi-finals W. C. Romeril beat H. W. Horner 4 and 3, and J. N. Lemon beat W. D. McKenzie 2 and 1. The final will be played this .afternop. St. Clair Club.—The Four-ball Bogey Handicap, played on the St. Clair course on Saturday afternoon, resulted as follows:—Brown and Vallis 6 up, Pringle and Reid 4 up, McKay and Cardno 2 up, Bennie and Butler 1 up, Ross and Templeton 1 up, Sharpin and Burn 1 up. Belleknowes Club.—The following are the results of matches played in the first round of club and junior championships for the Hay and Nees Cups on Saturday afternoon: —Club: L. D. Bewley beat N. R. Onslow Ladies’ Club.—ln the two club match played oh Thursday morning last over nine holes, Mrs Pink, Mrs Holloway, and Miss Hunt tied for first place in the B Grade, Mrs Pink winning on the count back. Mrs Bowie won in the C Grade. In the Medal round played in the afternoon, Mrs Main (101—28—73) returned the best card. On Thursday next the monthly matches for the Hudson and McGrath Cups will be played.
