DIRECT AIR SERVICE
BRITAIN TO SPAIN (Rec. 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. The first direct air service between Britain and Spain is beginning next Monday, when British Overseas Airways is inaugurating a thrice-weekly service to Madrid. The journey will take six or seven hours. It has also been announced that the first civil internal air gervice since the outbreak will be opening shortly. It will b» from Croydon to Liverpool, where It will connect with an additional service to Belfast.
