DEATH SENTENCES CONFIRMED (Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. The Court of Appeal at Brussels confirmed the death sentences imposed on Hoogven. a former chauffeur to the Ministry of Colonies, and Paul Hertin, the former editor of Nouveau Kougnal. They were among Belgium’s foremost collaborators. A Marseilles court sentenced Laval to death, in his absence, for dealing with the enemy. The former editor ot Petit lilarseilles. Jean Gaillard Gourrageas, was also sentenced to death oil the same charge.
