SMALL BOY DROWNED
BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR Murray Campbell Cooper, aged four years and eight months, the son of Mr and Mrs Campbell Cooper, of Macandrew Bay, was found drowned at Portobello on Friday afternoon. The boy was missed , earlier in the afternoon, and a search was made by his grandfather, Mr R. N. Kinnaird, who found the body floating in the harbour near the wharf. Medical aid was summoned, and artificial respiration was tried, but without success. An inquest was opened on Saturday morning, Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.. sitting as coroner. After evidence of identification had been given, the inquest was adjourned sine die.
