HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE
A house in Orwell street, owned by Mr J. Baker, was practically destroyed by fire at 10 a.m. yesterday. The Fire Brigade was quickly on the scene, but the flames had a good hold. The house was occupied by Mr J. Baker and his brother. The fire is thought to have been caused through paint being burnt off.
