Port of Oamaru.—To-day, high tides at the Port of Oamaru will be at 7.19 a.ni. and 7.45 p.m.; and to-morrow at 8.15 a.m. and 8.48 p.m. Coming-of-Age Function.—To celebrate the coming-of-age of their elder son, Dempster, Mr and Mrs J. Hamilton held a pleasant function in the Railway Hall on Thursday night. Relatives, as well as many friends, attended. Mr S. Dick was M.C. Items were contributed by Messrs W. Neill, W. Scott, S. Dick; Misses L. Kaye and K. Scanlan. Mrs Neill was the accompanist. A community sing was led by Mr Dick. Mr D. Rawson supplied dance music.
