SWEDISH TERRITORY
VIOLATION BY GERMANS LONDON, Oct. 5.
The Swedish military authorities have ordered the inhabitants, of Raparanda, on the Finnish border, opposite Tornia, to prepare to evacuate because German shells continue to fa 1 1... on Swedish territory' as the Germans try to dislodge the Finns from the islets of the Tornia River, says Reuter’s Stockholm correspondent. Afton Tidningen says: “The Germans are systematically violating Swedish territory. Swedish officers crossed the border and warned the Germans, but the firing into Swedish territory continues.”
