Forrester, who has been a member of the board since its inception, and its high appreciation of the valuable services rendered to the board and its consumers, and to the public of North Otago generally by him while a memher of the board. Mr Forrester has served with distinction several terms as chairman and deputy chairman of the board. His sincerity and fairness to all parties concerned in matters before the board were always most apparent, and his advice on the most difficult of problems, which at times faced the board, was of great value.
