OBITUARY
MR J. DOUGLAS Private advice was received in Dunedin last night of the sudden death yesterday of Mr John Douglas, manager df the Masterton gasworks. Mr Douglas was Well known in Dunedin, where he was engirieer in the gasworks for a number of years. He was also an enthusiastic cricketer. Mr Douglas was born in Auckland about 58 years ago, and later came to Dunedin, where he resided until six years ago, when he was appointed to the position of engineer of the Masterton gasworks. He is survived by his wife, one son, who is in the air force, and two daughters.
