COMMANDO LANDING
ON ADRIATIC COAST LONDON, (Rec. 1 a.m.) June 18. German sources report that Allied commandos have landed on the Adriatic coast in the vicinity of Porto San Giorgio, 70 miles east of Perugia and well ahead of the Allied advance up the Adriatic coast. There is no confirmation of this from any Allied source.
