MEN’S BASKETBALL

The Otago Men’s Basketball Association’s competitions were continued this week in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium. The results were as follows:—First Grade: Brockville 12, St. Kilda 7; University 30, Air Force 12; Boys 23, Training College 10. Second Grade: Boys 29, A.T.C. 11; University 16, Sea Cadets 10; St. Kilda 2, Y.M.C.A. nil; Brockville 24, Anglican 10. Third Grade: Training College 28, Brockville 6; Y.M.C.A. 18, A.T.C. 14; University 17, Air Force 12.

The positions of the teams are as follows:—First Grade: Boys 12 points, Brockville 10, University 8, Training college 4; St. Kilda 2, Air Force nil. Second Grade: Boys 12 points, Brockville 8, University 8, Anglican 6; A.T.C. 6, Sea Cadets 4; St. Kidla 4. Y.M.C.A. nil. Third Grade: Y.M.C.A. 10 points, Training College 10, Air Force 6, University 6, A.T.C. 2, Brockville 2. The following Is the draw for next Tuesday:—7 p.m., Brockville v. Y.M.C.A.; 7.36, Air Force v. Brockville; 8.12, St. Kilda v. Boys; B.4B,‘Training College v. University; 9.24, A.T.C. v. Air Force; 10, Training College v. University.
