NORTH SCHOOL COMMITTEE
The North School Committee discussed at its monthly meeting the question of the new school building, and it was decided again to bring the matter before the Otago Education Board for urgent consideration.
Mr L. E. Simmons (chairman), who presided, reported that school funds had benefited materially by the proceeds of euchre tournaments, which had been a great success. Mr E. W. It was stated that in the board’s view, accommodation should be provided only for children over one mile distant from the school.
