MAGISTRATE’S COURT
The Transport Department prosecuted in the following cases heard before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday afternoon: —
For cycling at night without lights Robert George Nelson, Wilfe Bruce Kerr, and Malcolm Francis McGregor were each fined 7s 6d and costs (10s). Robert George Nelson was convicted of riding a bicycle on a footpath, and was ordered to pay costs (10s). Thomas Browne was fined 10s and costs (10s) for driving a motor truck without a warrant of fitness. Norman Clive Lynn was fined £2 10s and costs (12s) for driving a car in a manner which, having regard to all circumstances, might have been dangerous to the public.
