FIRE BRIGADE CALLS
The Central Fire Brigade turned out at 2.34 p.m. yesterday to a justifiable false alarm from Quinn’s Clothing Factory in Jetty street. At 4.56 p.m. the brigade answered a call to a fire caused by a defectively placed heater at the City Corporation’s electrical showrooms In Princes street. One wall of the showroom was slightly damaged.
