TABERNACLE DISPUTE
CONGREGATION SUPPORTS •MINISTER
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. June 12. The dispute among members of the Baptist Tabernacle concerning the pastorale of the minister, the Rev. Dr Alexander Hodge, culminated in a meeting held at the Tabernacle tonight. It was attended by 618 members and the Mayor, Mr J. A. C. Allum, presided with the consent of both parties to the dispute. It was subsequently announced that the meeting had definitely decided that Dr Hodge should stay in Auckland.
