Her long tulle veil, embroidered with true lovers’ knots, fell from a head-dress of freesias, and she carried a sheaf of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. She wore a pearl cross, a gift from her father. Misses Jessie Webber and Isabella Stevenson were bridesmaids, and Mrs Henderson, sister of the bride, was matron of honour. The small niece and nephew of the bridewere flower girl and page boy respectively. They were all dressed alike in off white brocade, with very full skirts and fitting bodices. They carried sheaves of pink chrysanthemums, and their shoulder-length veils fell from topknot 3 of pink chrysanthemums. Mr Bert Campbell was best man, and Mr John Mitchell groomsman. A reception was held at the Crawford Lounge, Dunedin. For travelling, the bride wore an embroidered cinnamon frock (made from material tne bridegroom had brought back from the Middle East) under a musquash fur coat, the gift of the bridegroom.
