MR A. G. McFarland
(P.A.) WANGANUI, Feb. 10. The death has occurred of Mr Andrew George McFarland, acting editor, and for over 20 years chief reporter, on the Herald Wanganui, aged 62. Born at Christchurch, he spent more than 40 years as a working journalist in , Feilding, Palmerston North, Wellington, Ashburton, and Wanganui. For a time he was on the staff of the Press Association at the cable station at Wakapuaka. He leaves a wife four daughters, and one son.
