SERVICEMEN’S PARCELS

ADVICE OF DEPARTURES REQUIRED

As considerable difficulty has been experienced in getting in touch with all the servicemen going overseas, the conveners of the North Otago Parcels Committee have requested the secretaries of country committees, parents, and friends to notify them of impending departures. Advice should be given to Mrs R. A. McDowell, Wansbeck street. Oamaru (phone 1844), or Mrs A. A. Mays, Redcastle, Oamaru (phone 1941). Tire particulars required are the name and aadress, whether small, medium, or tall, and the branch of the services to which the serviceman is attached. Parcels will oe forwarded to country committees to be presented at complimentary functions or will be delivered to town residents at a convenient time and place. The committee is anxious that eve i'f man or woman going overseas should receive e. parting gift.. If anyone has been overlooked, parcels will be posted to them immediately on receipt of the full aadress.
