ENGAGEMENT
Mr and Mrs Sutherland Ross a few ' weeks ago received cabled news from : Cairo that their elder daughter, Flight ; Officer Rosemary S. Ross (R.A.F.), had : become engaged to Mr Richard Norton i Hollyer. Mr Hollyer is a member of the j British Council, and his parents reside at j Aldershot, England. More recent news is i that Flight Officer Ross endeavoured to ; obtain long leave to come to New Zealand, but, as this was not feasible, the wedding will take place at Cairo Cathedral on March 8. Word has also : been received that she has been men-/; tioned in despatches.
