PRE-O.C.T.U. COURSE
TRAINING OF NEW ZEALANDERS CAIRO, Jan.. 4. During its three years’ operation the pre-OCT.U. course of the New Zealand School of Instruction has been completed by almost 1000 candidates for commissioned rank. This course is unique in that it is the only one of its kind providing candidates with the opportunity to secure a thorough grounding in small arms and infantry drill before proceeding to the Middle East OCTU The result of this breakingin course has been displayed in the excellent performances recorded by New Zealanders at the Middle East O.C.T.U. During the past year nine have won the Allenby prize for the best ofnceicadet in the Middle East.
