GERMANS INTERNED
CREW OF BLOCKADE RUNNER ’ LONDON, Jan. 4. It is learned officially in London that the Government of Eire has decided to intern the 162 German Navy personnel who wer<* landed in Eire after the Bay of Biscay action last week. The German Minister in Eire, Herr Hempel, is stated to have interviewed Mr de Valera yesterday in an endeavour to obtain the men’s freedom.
