THE BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL
Sir,—Undoubtedly Mr T. M. B. Muir is the oldest living Otago High School boy, but I was always under the impression that my brother Colin was the first boy enrolled. Further, unless my memory is at fault, he, with the last boy enrolled, went through the Memorial Gate when it was opened at the sixtieth anniversary.—l am, etc., Arthur W. Macandrew. Auckland, August 12.
[The records show that Mr Colin Macandrew was the first pupil enrolled.—Ed. O.D.T.]
