NYLON STOCKINGS
SUPPLIES FOR AUSTRALIA (Rec. 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 12. Supplies of Nylon stockings for Australian womeh, will not come from the United States- under the lend-lease agreement. according to’ the Commonwealth Director of Import Procurement, Mr A. C. Moore. An announcement of the impending arrival of stockings was made by Mr W. V. McCall, M.P., a member of the Rationing Commission. He now states that Nylon stockings are likely to come forward in the form of diverted cargo.
