Father and a small son were watching the evolution of a plane overhead recently (states the Auckland Star), when the small boy inquired, “ Dad, what kind of a plane is that? ” Father, with memories of Home Guard instruction on recognition of aircraft, studied toe various features of the plane, and at length pronounced it a Kittyhawk fighter. The small boy was scornful. “ That’s not a Kittyhawk," he said. “ The wings are too big. Don’t you know the wings of a Kittyhawk are only half as long as the elephant at the Zoo? "
