FOUR CANDIDATES FOR OAMARU (Special) OAMARU, Aug.' 11. A fourth candidate for the Oamaru seat was announced to-day. He is Mr George Barclay, a well-known farmer, of Waimate, who will be the Democratic Labour Party candidate. A brother of Mr J. G. Barclay, the Minister of Agriculture, he has been farming all his life, first at Little River and for the past 23 years at Waimate. ■The four candidates are as follows: The Minister of Health, Mr A. H. Nordmeyer, Mr G. P. Cuttriss, an Independent sponsored by the People’s Movement, Sergeant T. R. Beatty, nominated by the National Party, and Mr Barclay.
