Campion (storeman): Fur Dressers and Dyers, ltd for G D. Powell (fur flesher). L. Silvester (shop assistant) and Bartons, Ltd., for R. A. Knox (butcher shop manager). The • appeal of the estate of H. Cooper for D. R. Bidlingall (storekeeper) was dismissed. the reservist not to be called up before October 31. _ , , Appeals by D. L. Grubb, a fish shop proprietor, and by Mrs U. Boyd for E. A. Ecyd, a farm labourer, were adjourned until September 30. _ . An appeal by the Taierl and Peninsula Company, Ltd., for D. Robertshaw (milk roundsman) was adjourned'to enable; a suitable replacement to be made. Recommendation for release from camp, until September 30, 1943, was made in, an appeal by A. Kane for J. Hamilton. An appeal by the Self Help Co-op., Ltd., for W. H. Francis, assistant provincial manager, was withdrawn as from September 30, and an appeal by Caltex, Ltd., for H O. H. Powell (terminal superintendent) was withdrawn as from August
31 ' ' • An appeal by Mrs E. Miles for A. S. Hanson (grocer) was adjourned to enable a report to be obtained from the Utilisation Committee. An appeal by the Taieri and Peninsula Company, Ltd., for H. J. Hill (superintendent of milk runs) was adjourned until the release of Lieutenant McKnight.
