NEW JUGOSLAV CABINET

(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 11. The new Jugoslav Cabinet formed after the resignation of the Trifunovic Cabinet includes the following:—Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and Acting War Minister, Dr Puritch; Minister for War, Air, and the Navy, General Mihailovitch; Minister for the Interior, M. Milicevitch; Minister of Finance, Commerce, and Industry, Dr Martinivitch. The new Cabinet is the second in six weeks.

Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent says the Trifunovic Cabinet’s resignation arose immediately from the insistence by the Croat Ministers that outstanding political questions should be settled before the Government moved to Cairo. The new Government is composed of a few high officials who hope to carry on undisturbed by party friction. The retention of General Mihailovitch as war Minister should guarantee full support for the heroic leader of the Jugoslav resistance to the invader. Dr Puritch is a distinguished Serb diplomat.

The new Government is expected to move to Cairo this month.
