PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED
NEW ZEALANDERS OVERSEAS (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 11. The following promotions in the R.N.Z.N.V.R. have been announced:— Lieutenants: B. Blake (Auckland), K. C. Armstrong (New Plymouth), H. L. Armstrong (Ashburton), R ; M. Cramond (Wanganui). Sub-lieuten-ant: V. W. Were. The following are Fleet Air Arm promotions:—Lieutenants: C. C. Burke (Invercargill) and ‘F. A. Sherman. Sub-lieutenants: I. A. Selby (Kihikihi), L. J. Ryan (New Plymouth), A. H. Reynolds (Rotorua), W. K. Nankervis and R- D. Hoskin (Auckland), D. Morton (Christchurch).
