LAW SOCIETY’S PROTEST
The following message, protesting against the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Bill, fcas been forwarded to the Government by the Otago District Law Society:— ' _ , , ” The Otago District Law Society stronglv represents that the suggested system' for stabilisation under the Servicemen's Settlement Bill is cumbersome, expensive, and generally unworkable in practice. The society urges that the Bill be postponed to enable it tO ( be referred to committees for evidence.”
