PARCELS FOR SOLDIERS
With the object of assisting the funds being raised to send parcels to soldiers, a community sing, led by Messrs R. McKenzie, Archie Jones, and Ray Marshall, will be held in the Concert Chamber of the Town'Hall on Saturday night, and the bookings indicate that there will be a large attendance. This will probably be Mr Jones’s only appearance in Dunedin this season, and he will sing several of his most popular numbers, including “ The Cart Load o’ Hay ” and " Phil the Fluter’s Ball.” An excellent supporting programme by talented performers has been arranged. Particulars are advertised.
