MATCHES AGAINST.; CANTERBURY

The following men's„ representative hockey teams have been selected by the senior selector... (Mr E. Rennick) to play Canterbury teams on Saturday. The senior match will be played on the Ova) No. 1, starting at 3 p.m., and the colts' match on the Oval No. 2, at 1.30 p.m.:— .. Seniors.—Rowntree (University), Bedford (Albany), Smith (Training College). Aitken (University), White (Training College), Weir (Albany), Sherrills (Air Force), Diebert (Air Force), Ryburn (University, captain), Bullivant (AD Force), Barton (University). The umpires will be Mr H. Sew Hoy and Mr K. Hamilton (Christchurch). ■ Colts.—Henderson (Air Force), Barclay (Air Force), Koefoed (Albany), Poole (University), Drury (University), Fyfe (Training College), Johnston (University), Brasted (University), Phillips (University, captain), Jack (Albany), Forest (Univercity). Emergencies: Fordham (Air Force) Hewson (Training College), Langley (Albany), Suckling (University). The umpires will be Mr G. Adams and Mr Kiddey (Christchurch). The junior selector (Mr A. Barnes) has chosen the following team to pipy the Canterbury juniors on the 'Oval No. 1 at 1.30 p.m.:—Livick (Air Force), Malthus (Training College), Markham (University).
