PANIC IN BUCHAREST

TROOPS WITHDRAWN FROM RUSSIA LONDON, (Rcc. 10.15 p.m.) Aug. 10. A panic has started in Bucharest owing to the situation on the Russian front, says the Istanbul correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph, quoting information from Bucharest. The correspondent adds that the Rumanian troops who have hitherto been fighting on the Russian front have been withdrawn to Bessarabia. Bucharest has been partly evacuated. The King and the Queen Mother have left the city. The position of the Prime Minister, General Antonescu, is becoming more acute each day.
