REPRESENTATIVE IN RUSSIA
GOVERNMENT’S INTENTION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 10. The Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, announced the Government’s intention tc appoint a New Zealand representative to Russia when the estimates of the External Affairs Department . were being discussed in the House to-night. He said that the representative would not be a Minister, but a Consulgeneral or something of that kind.
