WORK OF THE RED CROSS
Appreciation of the work done by the Red Cross Society for returned men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. was expressed yesterday by a soldier who recently returned from overseas. He said that since his arrival in New Zealand he had found that the members of this organisation were always ready to give assistance to servicemen. These voluntary workers, he added, were giving wonderful service, which was greatly appreciated by all the men with whom they came in contact.
