OUTRAM TOWN BOARD
The monthly meeting of the Outram Town Board was held on Wednesday last and was attended by the chairman, Mr O. Hughes, and Messrs Walker, Robertson, Colhoun, and Dickie. A deputation consisting of Messrs C. Cameron. W. E. S Watson, J. C. Snow, A. T. Graham, J. H. Bathgate, and Dr Wylie waited on Uie board in respect of a proposed addition 1o the Town Hall. Various members of the deputation spoke in support of the proposal, all of them contending that the hall had long since been too small for many of the functions held there. It was decided that inquiries be made as to the cost of the extra land required and that the opinion of an architect be obtained in regard to the carrying out of the proposals.
