ST. CLAIR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The thirty-fifth annual meeting of the St. Clair Presbyterian Churchy was held on Wednesday night, the Rev. S. Dj Baird (interim moderator) presiding over a good attendance of members. The reports of the various organisations showed that the work of the church had been well maintained in spite of war difficulties and the vacancy in the pastorate. Over 30 members and adherents are on war service overseas. The membership roll showed a slight decrease from 301 to 290. The balance of the church debt had been paid off during the year. The meeting unanimously decided to extend a call to the Rev. J. A. F. Watson, of Riverton. During the evening the choir contributed two items and a violin solo was played by Mr J. Timlin.
