THE DUG-OUT
WAIKOUAITI SUB-ZONE One of the attractions to those visiting the city during Show Week will be a Country Day which will be held in the Octagon Dug-out on Friday, June 4. The Waikouaiti Sub-zone includes county and borough, and all the districts from Waikouaiti to Sawyers’ Bay have combined to hold a large sale of meat, poultry, cakes, vegetables and all kinds of farm produce. The whole of the proceeds are in aid of the All Purposes Appeal, and the organising committee feels confident that full support will be given to a worthy cause.
