LONDON, May 30. The United Kingdom’s oldest old-age pensioner, John Christian Franclow, of Wolverton, is 108 years old to-day. He received a birthday telegram frcm their Majesties congratulating him on the attainment of a “remarkable age.” Franclow worked on the railways for most of his life. He has occupied his present house for 70 years. His unmarried daughter, aged 68, cares for him.
